P&G to launch Olay anti-aging body wash in North America
Procter and Gamble is continuing to push its Olay brand by launching a body wash designed to target skin aging as part of the Total Effects range.
The 7-in-1 anti-aging body wash is designed to deliver anti-aging benefits to the skin over time, removing dry skin cells and improving skin elasticity for younger-looking radiant skin, according to P&G.
Citing a study conducted by evolutionary biologist Dr. Bernhard Fink exploring the relationship between body skin age and perception of age, P&G underlined the importance targeting all skin areas in the fight against aging.
The body wash will be launched in the US and Canada in February 2010 at a suggested retail price of $5.99 for 8.4 oz product and $7.99 for a 15.2 oz product.
