Alcan Packaging develops new rotating applicator for lip gloss
The company states that the applicator system “delivers the perfect dose over the entire surface of the lips in one go, as the full circumference of the applicator is used”.
Using a newly patented rotation system, it is said to have been created to satisfy consumer demand for longer-lasting gloss. Creative Director Michel Limongi said: “Women are completely satisfied with the quality of their lip gloss, but are looking for more, longer-lasting gloss.”
According to Alcan, the new ‘SpinArt’ applicator differs from previous products such as ‘Artist roll-on’, because it has a more ‘natural and comfortable’ movement than a conventional flocked applicator.
Alcan suggests that the gloss can be used on top of lipstick without disturbing the color quality underneath, ensuring that coverage and shine remain in tact.
