Noveon Consumer Specialties has upgraded its website and launched themed prototype kits in an attempt to make the formulating process clearer and easier.

The Cleveland-based company is launching sensory skin care kits that distinguish the different type of sensory requirements according to both geographic region and physiology, while simultaneously building enhanced user experience and functionality to its website.

Improved access

The website update means that formulators can access technical data sheets, product specifications and sample formulations, as well as search for sample formulas by form, application, market or product positioning and appearance.

The sensory skin care prototype kits have been developed around five separate themes that incorporate four prototype skin care products that use the appropriate combination of Carbopol polymers and Schercemol esters.

Formulating themes

Each of the formulating themes has been developed around specific industry and cultural trends that are designed to meet the requirements of skin care consumers worldwide.

The five themes can be located at www.sensimap.com and are as follows:

● Party Time is developed mainly around the requirements of younger consumer predominantly from Europe to meet high energy multi-purpose usage

● The Fresh Start is designed to meet the requirements of aging consumers looking for anti-aging skin care solutions and mainly meets the sensory preferences of North Americans.

●Asian Brightness Secrets is designed to incorporate into skin care the brightening and whitening criteria that predominate among Asian consumers.

●Pampering is mainly targeted at North American consumers who value luxury skin care products with enhanced sensory qualities.

●Chronobiology targets the predominantly South American penchant for skin care products that address differences in skin composition, function and overall appearance.
