Portola Packaging appoints new CEO

Portola Packaging has appointed a new CEO and president from paperboard packaging firm Graphic Packaging International.

Kevin Kwilinski, who spent 10 years at Graphic, where he most recently served as Snr. VP Supply Chain, has been hired as the new head of Portola Packaging.

Portola Packaging has two sides of its business covering the beverage and cosmetics markets. On the drinks side, Portola develops plastic closures, bottles, capping equipment and blow molding products.

For the cosmetics industry, the company operates through the subsidiary Portola Tech International (PTI), which produces plastic packaging components. PTI claims to offer the largest stock line of closures in the industry, with over 450 styles and sizes.
