Contract cosmetics manufacturer GS Cosmeceutical has named Judith Sikora as its new VP of global sales as part of efforts to expand its reach into international markets.

In the newly created position Sikora will report directly to COO Gurkipral Sandhu, and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Livermore, California, which is situated west of San Fransisco.

Sikora forms part of the company’s current strategy, implemented when it celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2008, to grow and develop the business further.

Company expands its premises

So far the growth strategy has led the company to expand into a second building near its current location, as well as the appointment of a number of critical staff positions.

This expansion concentrated on the company’s research and development facilities, which led to the recruitment of several new cosmetic chemists charged with upping its expertise in this all-important area.

Sikora has extensive experience in the health and beauty field, having worked for industry giants such as Elizabeth Ardern, Calvin Kline, Avon and Nu Skin.

Building on role as key strategist

In these roles she has played the part of key strategist for the launch of a new retail beauty division, designed a company first global ‘product university’ and co-engineered a first-to-market ‘lifestyle’ beauty brand.

More specifically she has also held the position of sales director with the company Colorsicence, a mineral make-up business that targets the medical and resort sectors.

“Judith’s overall experience in sales and marketing, as well as her knowledge of the industry and her expertise in the category, translates into great incremental value, both for us and our clients,” said Gogi Sangha, CeO and founder of GS Cosmeceutical.
