TechNature upgrades packaging and processing facilities
for the cosmetics industry and based in France, says it has
invested in new technology that allows it to individually package a
spectrum of different ingredients and products quickly and
efficiently, according to individual requirements.
The company, which is based in Brittany, North-West France, specialises in ingredients for peel-off masks that are mainly supplied to the growing spa industry. The nature of this industry means that manufacturing requirement are often highly specific, which in turn means that the process has to be tailored to meet individual requirements.
The company says that its strategy to install packaging capabilities that meet specific made-to-measure requirements forms part of its philosophy to remain innovative and technologically advanced and also responds to specific needs.
Newly installed equipment means that products such as face masks can be packaged into individual sachets as well as boxes containing a number of sachets. This process is said to be suited to a number of different products, including powder- and granule-based beauty lines, as well as gels, plant extracts and oils.
According to the company, the move means that it now can provide turn-key services to the beauty industry, covering all aspects of the manufacturing process - something that in turn it hopes will attract new companies in search of individualisation for their brands.
Likewise, the investment in the packaging line is expected to reinforce the quality and efficiency of the company's existing manufacturing process, particularly as the new facilities can package at the rate of 15,000 sachets per hour.
The new facilities now include 3 mixing machines of 240L, 3000L and 4000L a Big-Bag dispenser, 5 lines for the packaging of consumer sachets and one for the packaging of bags for industrial purposes, up to 25kgs.
Formed in 1996 by Philippe Le Fur, TechNature has developed extended its manufacturing floor space from a 1,000 metre square facility to a 3,000 square metre facility and the acquisition of two further sites in 2004. The business now also includes the Lessonia division, which specialises in the supply of natural-based exfoliant ingredients.
