US cosmeceuticals player Janson Beckett has signed three
distribution deals to extend its anti-ageing product lines into new
markets, including Russia, the Middle East and Korea, as demand
grows for its products outside of the domestic market.

Janson Beckett Cosmeceuticals, a developer of peptide-based skin care products, said it has reached exclusive agreements with three international companies on multi-year pacts to distribute its complete anti-aging treatment regimen.

The new distributors of the peptide-based anti-ageing treatment, will include Medoxfol+ in the Russian and Balkan market, CosmeticUs in Turkey and the Middle East, and Beacon in Korea.

The company says that the distributors were chosen because they represent the high-end beauty segment it is targeting following a comprehensving review of market options and product evaluations.

Janson Beckett Cosmeceuticals debuted in June 2004 with AlphaDerma CE. Since then it has achieved considerable market momentum in the US and the is now attempting to replicate that growth in new markets.

AlphaDerma CE's formulation blends 10 per cent Argireline, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin-C Ester, DMAE, Elastin, Collagen, and Soy , which aims to firm and smoothe skin almost immediately, reduces fine facial lines, and promotes healthier skin structure.

Argireline was the first peptide developed for cosmetic application to provide a lower cost, non-invasive alternative to Botox injections, and taps into the burgeoning market for non-invasive answers to anti-ageing treatments.

The AlphaDerma CE line also includes certified organic cleansers and toners, an Argireline-based facial prep, a dual source Vitamin C facial serum, and an Argireline-based under eye treatment.

In November 2005, the company followed AlphaDerma CE with the launch of DermaExcel 7. The product is claimed to be the first skin care treatment to combine triple-peptide in a spot wrinkle treatment, and is also said to be the only cosmeceutical product to combine high percentages of the peptides Argireline, Leuphasyl, and SNAP-7 in one formulation.

Currently Janson Beckett distributes its products using 300 distributors worldwide, and has already established a strong consumer base in Europe, particularly in the UK, where its organic baby care product have proved a success.
