Parlux signs up Paris Hilton for fragrance
Hilton to develop, manufacture and distribute fragrance and related
product lines under her name.
Parlux Fragrances, which last month announced the signing of a letter of intent, has now confirmed it has signed an agreement with Paris Hilton effective 1 June 2004.
Under the terms of the agreement, which have not been disclosed in full, Parlux will develop, manufacture and distribute prestige fragrances and related products under the Paris Hilton name, although she has been quoted by the New York Times as saying they may call the fragrance "Heiress".
Paris Hilton, a member of the Hilton hotel-chain family, who shot to international fame through her appearances in a US reality TV-show entitled 'The Simple Life', recently signed an agreement with the Guess label to be the face for a new line of fashion and accessories.
Parlux, which also makes fragrances under the brand names Guess, Ocean Pacific and Perry Ellis, amongst others, said the fragrance would be on shelves by the end of the year.
