UCI fragrance marketing takes on global aspect

Unilever Cosmetics International today announced the creation of a
new global marketing role for its designer prestige fragrance
divisions: Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Unilever Prestige and European
Designer Parfums.

Unilever Cosmetics International (UCI) today announced the creation of a new global marketing role for its three designer prestige fragrance divisions: Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Unilever Prestige and European Designer Parfums ahead of new innovations expected for, amongst others, the Calvin Klein, Cerruti and Vera Wang brands.

Laura Klauberg, formerly vice president of brand development, skincare, for Unilever Home and Personal Care - North America, has been appointed senior vice president Marketing of UCI, reporting directly to Kevin Boyce, president and chief executive officer of UCI.

Laura will lead the global marketing efforts for New York-based UCI's prestige fragrance brands Calvin Klein, Nautica, Vera Wang, BCBG Max Azria, Chloe, Cerruti and Karl Lagerfeld.

"We are creating this important position to leverage the strength of our organisation's marketing creativity and resources, leading to even greater growth opportunities for our brands,"​ said Boyce. "Laura, a 20-year Unilever veteran, brings to UCI a wealth of experience in innovation and marketing and the entire team here is excited about working with her on major UCI initiatives for 2004, including innovations for Calvin Klein, Cerruti and Vera Wang."
