Queen honours Body Shop founder
Roddick was awarded the title of Dame as part of the Queen's
Birthday Honours released on 14 June. She was awarded the title for

The Body Shop founder and ardent environmental campaigner Anita Roddick was awarded the title of Dame as part of the Queen's Birthday Honours released on 14 June. She was awarded the title for her life-long work in retailing, the environment and charity.
Commenting on the award, Dame Anita said: "Thank you to those who nominated me and those who awarded me this Honour. I hope this honour opens the path to allow me to be more radical."
