A consumer study of derma e’s 8-product Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A line (previously known as Refining Vitamin A) has shown that it reduces discoloration and wrinkle volume.

Over a twelve-week period, participants used the Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A products that were best suited for their skin type (dry, oily, combination or normal).

At the beginning and end of the trial, facial images of each participant were recorded and analyzed using a high-powered VisioFace photographic device.

The derma e team said that participants also completed a survey to gauge self-perceived benefits of using the line.

‘The skin vitamin’

Both quantitative and qualitative test results provide strong evidence that the Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A line helps to reduce discoloration and wrinkle volume, area and depth, while visibly improving skin texture and roughness.

The line derma e line features Vitamin A, which the U.S. firm refers to as ‘the skin vitamin’, plus antioxidants and botanicals to help visibly diminish discoloration, wrinkles and sun damage.

Vitamin A is an antioxidant best known for its cellular renewing properties. Through the process of cell renewal, research shows that Vitamin A helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, skin irregularities and roughness of naturally aged skin.

In addition, Vitamin A helps support healthy collagen and hyaluronic acid levels, improving tone, texture and overall appearance of skin.
