Natural and organic personal care maker Jason has extended it range
of professional hair care products and introduced a new anti-aging
skin care treatment as it taps into the growing market for
natural-based products as well as key trends within the hair and
skin care category.

Professional hair care and anti-aging treatments have been two key growth categories in recent years. The company believes that combining this with its focus in the ever-growing interest in natural and organic products should prove a winning combination.

The professional hair care line contains four specialized hair care systems to volumize, normalize, moisturize and style the hair - with all formulas promising to be paraben-, sodium lauryl- and laureth sulfate-free and not tested on animals.

The volumizing range, which includes a kiwi and apricot shampoo, conditioner, mousse and root boost, contains vitamin B5 and wheat protein - ingredients that are said to heal and lift the hair respectively.

The normalizing system includes rosewater and chamomile shampoo and conditioner, which have both been formulated with rosewater, lavender, chamomile, jojoba oil and other plant extract to help enhance stressed hair and soothe agitated scalps.

The range also includes a moisturizing system, which is made up of a plumeria and sea kelp shampoo, leave-in conditioning spray as well as a mint and rose intense moisture treatment. This range is formulated with sea kelp and plumeria to hydrate the hair and reduce frizz.

Salons across the US are also expected to stock Jason's range of styling products, which includes aloe vera and bergamot styling gel, finishing spray, shine spray, texturizing cream and a citrus and mandarin wax pomade. The range contains botanicals extracts and oils, including bergamot, chamomile, citrus and meadowfoam seed oil.

Meanwhile, the company is also launching its Alpha Lipoic Acid Cream, an anti-aging treatment that also contains DMAE and C Ester - a combination that is said to be 400 times more potent than vitamins C or E. The formula is said to be effective in fighting the effects of skin damage, particularly from the sun, and also helps to prevent future damage by providing heightened protection.

Jason, which is a part of the Hain Celestical Group, has forged a name as one the North America's leading natural personal care manufacturers. Established in 1956, it has enjoyed significant growth in recent years on the back of increased interest in natural cosmetics and toiletries.

Currently its range is available internationally, both on-line, as well as being distributed in key retail outlets in North America and other major global markets. Its ranges includes men's and women's care, oral care, baby care, lip care and sun care.
