Last year Lucas Meyer formed a partnership with bark extracts specialist Bio Forextra Labs. Just over a year later the companies are together launching a portfolio of three impressive ingredients with impressive claims.
This week the company announced its investment in the materials development company Bio ForeXtra, a logical move given last year’s acquisition of Lucas Meyer and IFF’s intention to fortify its cosmetic ingredients business.
The company’s new pledge is to ‘make you happy’, which it aims to do by highlighting sensory expertise that can give the cosmetic formulations the type of textures that has consumers coming back for more.
Lucas Meyer has confirmed the acquisition of a portfolio of cosmetic ingredients from Biopharmacopae Design International to expand its footprint in the natural actives category.
