Tagra's SunCaps™ microencapsulation technology improves product safety by removing the possibility of UV filters entering inside the skin.

SunCaps™ were also found to be non-irritating using the Cumulative Irritation Test (CIT) over 14 days. An in-vivo SPF measurement showed a 20-30% increase in SPF efficacy when compared to the theoretical calculated SPF value of free non-encapsulated UV filters at the same concentration levels.
