The cannabis company, with a specialty in indoor cultivation, has just commercialized 6 CBD skin care products for sale in Latin America.

“We are proud to have completed this major milestone and have positioned ourselves to be a leader and cornerstone of product quality within the global marketplace, with an initial emphasis in Latin America and Europe.” Borja Sanz de Madrid, President of Ikänik Farms International, Inc., tells the press.

Finding a market for cannabis beauty in LATAM

Like many companies in the cannabinoids business, Ikänik is leveraging opportunities in the LATAM region to grow its business.

The company’s recent announcement about registering and commercializing a collection of CBD skin care in Colombia is a case in point. Registration in that country goes through the National Institute of Drug and Food Surveillance. And this step means that Ikänik can now sell those skin care items in 4 countries in the region: Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Peru.

“We are excited to open the door to multiple countries concurrent with our product registrations and look forward to better serving the Latin American markets in the near future,” says Brian Baca, CEO of Ikänik Farms, in the company’s recent press release.

Banking on the quality and purity of cultivated CBD

As the cannabis beauty market expands, it seems that every brand and company involves has its own specialized approach to ingredients.

Ikänik uses in-door cultivation and produces finished product (often) in the same facility. The company believes this is the best strategy to ensure product quality and to operate efficiently.

The Ikänik skin care or cosmetic products are formulated with “cannabis-derived oil.” And Ikänik  highlights that “all products are designed with plant-derived oils and cultivated under strict quality and control standards, fortified with organic and natural ingredients to maximize the effect of the specific product and its purpose.”
