Dermelect showcases new packaging and product kits at CPNA

The cosmeceuticals brand was showing both nail care and skin care kits at Cosmoprof North America this year. And a key feature of both kits is the imagery, icons, and text that Dermelect is using to share benefit, safety, and ingredient information with consumers.

In conversation with Cosmetics Design editor Deanna Utroske, Cheryl Behnam, director of operations for Dermelect explains the brand’s choice to include before and after images on the secondary packaging of the lip kit, as well as expanded ingredient information with icons to help consumers sort through what is and what isn’t in the products.

“Our customer,” Behnam tells Cosmetics Design, “really wants to know what she’s putting on her face. She’s concerned about ingredients. She’s concerned about her products being cruelty free, gluten-free; in nail care, five-free.
