The personal care company started by Paris Hilton last year has, just this week, announced the launch of a single product, which promises to be the first in a full skin care collection coming to market early in the New Year.

The Unicorn Mist rosewater spray is being sold “through a product-specific online storefront and in select retail locations throughout Australia,” according to a media release about the new skin care brand.

To incentivize consumers, Paris Hilton Unicorn Mist comes in a limited edition glass bottle. The unicorn theme and packaging decoration are apparently part of the launch campaign and not necessarily representative of the full product line. Though time will tell.

Natural beauty

The full collection promises to be comprised of “natural skincare products,” according to the release.  And it describes the Hilton Lifestyle company as “committed to developing innovative skincare products utilizing ingredients sourced from nature while incorporating the values and vision of the founders for a truly genuine consumer relationship.”

Hinting a bit further at product formulation, the release notes that “…Paris Hilton and a team of industry experts and chemists…formulate skincare products for ingredient-conscious consumers that deliver measurable results by supporting skin health from within.”

Celebrity brand

In beauty, celebrity entrepreneurs are fairly common today. Where once famous actors, singers, etc. worked with brands as spokespeople, now they take a more active roles in these businesses. Rihanna’s Fenty beauty is a prime example. (Read about that color cosmetics brand’s recent launch on Cosmetics Design.)

As for Hilton, she tells the press, “I am so excited to be able to bring such an amazing product to the market.”

“I have always had a passion for taking care of my skin and I only use products that actually work without harmful chemicals that are only a temporary fix,” she adds. “With this new company I can stand behind my own products and promote a brand that is focused on making products that truly work and can help everyone look and feel their best.”
