Today’s the last day for the rolling experiential pop-up that’s bringing makeup tips, tricks, and samples to college campuses. The road trip is a joint project of the Sephora Collection brand and Clique Media Group’s college fashionista.

The tour kicked off on Tuesday, October 17, with a stop at George Washington University in Washington, DC, then traveled on to St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and finally to Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Teamwork

Sephora Collection and college fashionista have teamed up before. “Our CF Clubhouse activation in New York this past summer was so well received and proved our shared audiences are unique and strong,” Amy Levin, founder and creative partnerships director of college fashionista, says in a media release about the college truck tour.

“Similar to college fashionista, Sephora Collection understands what Gen Z audiences crave as it relates to beauty,” she explains. “By joining forces again, we are able to celebrate Sephora Collection's product offerings and expertise alongside college fashionista's editorial insight, this time through an interactive road trip.”

Learning experience

College students visiting the truck can get tips and learn looks—like ‘internship interview’, ‘fun night out’, and ‘dorm hang time’—at product application stations and meet with Helen Phillips, national makeup artist for the Sephora Collection brand, who’s sharing product recommendations and advice.

The tour will expose college goers to the affordable brand and experience what differentiates Sephora from other beauty retailers. “Sephora Collection prides itself for having unparalleled product offerings across every beauty need, at accessible price points that cater to all skin tones and skill sets,” Elizabeth Hayes, vice president of Sephora Collection, tells the press.

“We know college students are interested in experimenting with different looks and testing the most on-trend products, and therefore, we want to be able to provide them with the tools they need to feel confident in their look every day. Sephora Collection is dedicated to making beauty uncomplicated and is thrilled to partner with college fashionista this semester and serve as a resource that inspires all students to learn and play with beauty as they start a new chapter in their journey,” she says.
