The second of the company's two launches of ingredients designed exclusively for hair care, the N-DurHance polymer is likely to cause the bigger stir.
The company says it's the first 'truly durable solution for hair repair and conditioning'; it is a new cationic polymer, and works to restore hydrophobicity in dry hair, while also retaining a conditioning capacity.
Indeed, the developers state that during the course of develpment, it was observed that the polymer's conditioning benefits continue to improve over the course of multiple wash cycles.
The absence of any build-up on the hair means the ingredient can be used in all rinse-off conditioner systems.
