Newly launched toning product tailored to skin’s natural PH levels

Florida-based skin care provider Sublime Beauty says it newly launched toner has increased efficacy thanks to the fact that it matches the skin’s natural PH level.

The development of the product is part of a growing number of hair and skin care products that are being developed s to meet specific or niche consumer needs, thanks to multifunctional and advanced formulation technology.

The company says that the formulation for its Vitamin C Toner was developed around the idea that many daily use moisturizers can actually jeopardize the natural PH level of the skin.

Pollutants and other skin care products add to problems

This is often exacerbated by the fact that other influences, including tap water, cleansers or soaps, air pollutants, together with toxins excreted from the skin can accumulate to make skin either more alkaline or acidic.

Ultimately this can serve to threaten the general health of the skin, leading to outbreaks of pimples, rashes and contributing to general dullness in the complexion.

"When PH levels are off, the skin can become too dry or too oily, it can become inflamed or simply unhappy as the acid mantle of the skin cannot do its job,” said Sublime Beauty company founder Kathy Heshelow.

“The acid mantle keeps toxins and bacteria out and helps keep moisture and a healthy environment in,” she added.

Balances skin PH level while cleansing

The moisturizer has been developed to balance the skin to its correct PH level, while also aiming to heal and protect the skin, thanks to the incorporation of high levels of anti-oxidants in the Vitamin C.

The manufacturer recommends if the product is applied twice a day using cotton wool, it can also serve to help with the closure of pores, while also removing toxins and grime, ultimately enhancing skin glow.
