Sephora is set to preview the newest innovation of the company's first and only FDA-cleared hair removal laser available for use at-home, a 'Skin Perfecting Blue Light' for acne and topical skincare product line.
According to the Tria Beauty, its portfolio of at-home, light-based products being available in the beauty retailer's stores will reinforce its reputation of bringing cutting edge beauty innovations to its consumers
"Sephora is a tastemaker in the beauty industry and has a legacy of developing brands that become 'beauty must haves' for consumers,” says Tria's Vice President, Tim Bunch.
“A partnership between our two companies is a natural fit, given Tria's proven track record in providing products that raise the bar in results, technology and design,” he adds.
At home treatments now available to a wider consumer base
Tria describes its Hair Removal Laser 4X and the Skin Perfecting Blue Light as the same technology preferred by professionals for in-office treatments to deliver professional results in the privacy and comfort of home, at a fraction of the cost.
The Trial Skin Perfecting Blue Light treatment is clinically proven to destroy acne-causing bacteria in the skin, rapidly clearing acne breakouts and improving overall complexion. The Tria Skin Rejuvenating Laser treats multiple signs of a facial aging and is Health Canada approved and CE marked for sale in Europe.
"In multiple clinical studies conducted by leading dermatologists, the Tri blue light technology, used two to three minutes twice a day, cleared breakouts as quickly and effectively as professional blue light treatments as well as the leading proscription drug therapy,” the company claims in a statement.
Other products include a SmoothStart Calming Gel that's said to work alongside the laser device to keep the skin cool and comfortable, a Skin Perfecting Foam Cleanser that exfoliates and unclogs pores, and a Skin Perfecting Serum, which claims to reduce discoloration, calms inflammation and unclogs and minimizes the appearance of pores.
Emerging skin care device market
The market for home use beauty devices is growing significantly, driven by increased consumer demand as consumers become more educated than ever about how to use these professional style tools at home.
Indeed, some of the world’s largest personal care players are attempting to cash in on the trend, attesting to the strength of the sector.
