L’Oréal opts for French connection with new Lancome lipstick
L’Oréal has chosen packaging firm Axilone to design and produce the new lipstick from its Lancome range.
The Rouge IN LOVE lipstick tube features two solid ends pressed into the thin metal tubes, one in metal the other in aluminium.
A small plastic element at the bottom of the tube provides the locking click, and the pack has been double anodised in both mat and gloss finish, with decorative engraved details.
The cap slides over a stamped aluminium tube, which is also weighted. The base of the tube, engraved with the brand name, looks like a wedding ring, curved and rounded, an effect obtained by inflating and forming during the stamping process.
