Bottle redesign needed to help L’Oréal shampoo stand out
Cosmetics giant L’Oréal has redesigned the packaging for its Elsève shampoo and conditioner range in Western Europe with bi-injected dispensing closures.
The French firm teamed up with packaging firm GCS to cap the new contemporary containers as it looks to stand out and distinguish its products on the shelves in a competitive personal care market.
The new semi-transparent polypropylene (PP) closures elongate the tall flat oval shampoo packs which range from 200ml to 400ml in size, designed to improve the size impression and on-shelf visibility.
The design has also implemented a flip-top for ease of use whilst the headstand pack for the more viscous conditioner ensures that the full contents can be accessed easily, according to GCS.
