Oriflame executive acquires shares in company

Oriflame chairman Robert af Jochnick has increased his slice of the direct sales cosmetics business by acquiring a further 80,000 shares.

The deal brings the executives total number of shares in the business to over three million, which gives him a 5.5 per cent share in both voting rights and business capital.

Back in December 2009 the company founder divested one million shares in the business as a means of divesting in other investment interests, including health care company Medicover.

In 2010 Oriflame announced that sales were 8 per cent in local currencies to €1.51bn, while net profits rose by rose 26 per cent to reach €128.3m.
