In the wake of the holiday season, the Big Pony Collection, which is being released in conjunction with the fashion firm's corresponding clothing line promoted to the male under 30's market, will use Rexam Personal Care's TNP crimpless pump.
“When Ralph Lauren launches a fragrance, it is large, high-profile, and demanding,” said Samira Chmiti, product manager of fragrance, Rexam Personal Care.
“Our combination of technical, sales and supply chain support help in the success of a smooth, international launch,” she said.
Pump specifications
The fragrance pump being used is the Rexam TNP, crimpless. The Crimpless System (TCS), which was invented and patented by Rexam in 1988, has a collar that can be adjusted to fit individual bottle designs.
Rexam states that it is delivered pre-assembled with the pump for easy fitting, and can increase filling productivity by as much as 40 percent.
There is also no rubber gasket attached which the packaging supplier explains can sometimes affect the fragrance, making the pump one of the most neutral of attachments.
Big Pony Collection
The collection was originally launched earlier this year in the travel retail market with each scent aiming to embody a different message or mood, allowing the target market to express one or all of its passions and personality through the fragrance, according to L’Oréal.
The collection has now teamed up with Rexam to launch its global campaign in line with its clothing launch.
It comes at a busy time for Rexam Personal Care, who have also teamed up with fragrance firm Galliano for the worldwide launch of its latest scent, which utilizes the Rexam XD-11 insert and closure.
“For global launches of this stature, one-stop sourcing, manufacturing expertise and comprehensive field support are critical,” Chmiti added.
