Approved by a consumer study in New York, the ModulArt dispensing system is said to enable packagers to invest less than would be needed for complete customised dispensing solutions, having a lockable feature claimed to be the first in the industry. The company says the design of the dispensing system is allows packagers more freedom when creating unique dispensers, changing only the main optical component - the outershell, in turn cutting development time and costs. Targeting a wide audience, the lockable dispensing system makes the packaging solution desirable due to its ability to be locked only with one hand. Suited to most male and female cosmetic lines, the feature should prove popular with consumers who use their products on a daily basis, whilst on the go. As more and more people use their products on-the-go, consumers are increasingly demanding smaller personal care bottles that fit in to sports bags and weekend luggage - with the easy lockable dispensing system being the latest innovation in the field. The original design was first presented at LuxePack Monaco 2006, with the new design now due to be showcased at Cosmoprof Bologna 2007. The company will display how the system is now offering the cosmetic packaging industry mass customisation principles. With a new 33ml height and a new design by the company's design department, the packaging solution has been predicted to achieve the same success of its Cremosa design. Pfeiffer, a leading dispensing specialist, has previously made inroads in the fragrance industry, creating small pump dispensing systems that offered cosmetic companies greater flexibility in the packaging of middle to high-end fragrances.
