The deal is part of a marketing partnership that will promote Mango Madness skin care products through a network of independent retail outlets throughout the United States, where the Beach Organics products are already available.
It means that these two relatively small skin players can tap into synergies in an effort to increase the distribution of their products without having to make a significant investment.
This is a growing trend amongst smaller independent cosmetics manufacturers who are trying to increase their retail distribution without having to make a significant, and sometimes risky investment to get wider retail exposure.
Retail distribution in Florida
Retailers offering the Mango Madness product lines will now include three retailers in the state of Florida, which also happens to be where Beach Organics operates out of.
The retail outlets, which include the Massage By Morakot chain and the Beach Organics headquarters in Cocoa, are all located in Brevard County, Florida.
Although this first retail partnership is relatively modest, the companies are hoping that this will eventually lead to a higher profile for their brands and ultimately towards a nationwide distribution.
'A good fit' for one another
"We are excited to announce this partnership with Beach Organics, a leader in organic bath and body products," said Gary Myers, president of Palm Beach, Florid-based Mango Madness Skin Care.
"The two companies are a good fit and we are pleased to be able to expand our retail presence in this market."
Mango Madness is a range of skin care products formulated without harsh ingredients such as parabens and sulfates and area also gluten-free and not tested on animals.
Beach Organics provides a wide range of bath, face and body care products that have been approved by the California Certified Organic Farmers organization to underline that the formulations have been organic standards.
