The company estimates that sales will hit a value of Won 8 trillion ($6.74bn) during the year, fuelled by increased consumer spending and an optimistic economic outlook in the country.
The company says that it has experienced sales growth of 12.5 percent in 2009, a figure that comes despite the global economic downturn and is one that beats sales growth for the consumer goods category as a whole in the country.
Amorepacific said that sales had been strongest this year in department stores, where it had seen sales growth in excess of 20 percent, whereas sales growth exceeded 15 percent at supermarkets.
