The organizors claim that 75 personal care suppliers will be present at the 22nd semi-annual show, which will showcase natural ingredients, innovative packaging as well as current marketing strategies.
Held at the Metropolitan Pavilion, the show will open its doors on August 12, and will run for four days through to August 15.
Show manager Rita Malek says that the event will provide a 'barometer' for current trends and directions within this segment of the personal care industry, a segment that has been developing rapidly on the back of increasing spend on luxury and indulgent personal care treatments and products.
"Products with a 'social conscious,' either by construction or design, have particular appeal to health-conscious and environmentally-sensitive consumers," she said.
This is a theme that has prevailed in the cosmetics and personal care industry as a whole in the last few years, and one that has manifested itself through massive interest in the fast-growing naturals and organic segment.
Likewise, this trend has also been strongly reflected in the market for spa, specialty retail and salon products, where natural-based offerings have been proliferating.
Reflecting this, the show will be showcasing Håkansson, which will be exhibiting a range of naturally derived ingredients, with colors from France and powders from Japan.
Still on the naturals theme, Pharmacopia will introduce its 100 percent vegan Herbal Lip Elixir, made with pomegranate seed, hemp, castor, calendula, tangerine, jojoba, chamomile, comfrey and olive oils.
Likewise, Pure Inventions will feature its all-natural green tea formulas in six new flavors - including lemon, vanilla and peach - ultimately designed to impart a total 'body balance.'
More natural offering will be on display from Puresa Aromatherapy, which will showcase earth-friendly aromatherapy, organic, spa, Ayurvedic and natural mineral makeup, packaged in hand-crafted 100 per cent natural organic cotton bags and recycled packaging.
Finally, luxury baby care products will also be showcased from Chic Baby, which will be launching its Love, Chic Baby line, a new line of light fragrances - in pink and blue packaging - created with the aim of complementing a baby's natural scent.
