Clarins hopes social media will attract younger clientele

Beauty care brand Clarins is planning a move into the world of social media to coincide with its most recent range Multi-Active Day.

The range is aimed at the younger consumer and Clarins is planning to use it as a launch pad for its social media campaign, according to public relations title PRWeek.

Clarins will be offering samples of the range to the first 5,000 individuals that become fans of the product range via its Facebook site, and will be inviting bloggers to the launch party for the sites in an attempt to integrate them into its online community.
