Entries will be accepted from international designers, suppliers and marketing companies. Packages eligible for an award do not have to be currently on the market, but must be available to purchase by September 2009.

There are awards for six categories: cosmetic, fragrance, skin care, personal care and green packaging. With the exception of the green packaging award, each has a separate winner for ‘mass’ and ‘prestige’ products.

The packages will be judged on originality, design concept, creative use of new materials, components and decorating processes, technical competency and effective brand messaging.

The deadline for entrance is the 12 June 2009.

The winners will be announced at the HBA Global Expo, held in Jacob K Javits Convention Centre, New York from 15th-17th September.
