Bosch streamlines packaging technology business

Global packaging player Bosch Packaging Technology, a leader in the area of holistic security systems, has streamlined and renamed all of its global subsidiaries.

Effective from April 2nd, the US-based Doboy Inc, of New Richmond, will be named Bosch Packaging Technology Inc, while Dutch Tevopharm B.V. Schiedam, will become Bosch Packaging Tehcnology B.V.

The company’s other two subsidiaries, The Swiss Demaurex SA, of Lausanne, and the Dutch Rober Bosch Verpakkingsmachines B.V Weert, will become Bosch Packaging Technology SA and Robert Bosch Packaging Technology B.V., respectively.

The company said that the name changes represent the complete standardization of the the company names and emphasize that they are fully part of the Bosch Packaging Technology umbrella.

“The move emphasizes our one-stop shopping strategy across all business units",​ said Friedbert Klefenz, president of Bosch Packaging Technology, who also added that the move would serve to leverage the company’s global reputation and strengthen its market position.
