Fusion Packaging launched a new collection of large airless bottles intended for use with personal care products.

Developed for cleaners and body products as well as bonus size products, the containers come in two styles, Tru Jumbo and Millennium Jumbo.

Tried and true
The company’s existing Tru products feature standard-size airless bottles, atmospheric bottles, and airless tubes with a stepped actuator top. The new larger size versions—50 ml, 75 ml and 100 ml—mirror this familiar design.

“With the addition of Tru Jumbo, which offers 0.5 ml and 1.0 ml product output levels, the Tru collection provides brands with a broad range of sizes, shapes and dispensing options,” according to the company’s media release.

In modern times
The Millennium Jumbo containers were designed with an updated sensibility:  “In contrast to the traditional aesthetic of Tru, the Millennium Jumbo collection features a more modern profile with an ergonomic actuator and curved collar design,” states the release. These bottles come in the same three volume sizes: 50 ml, 75 ml and 100 ml.

Teamwork
The beauty industry packager takes pride in its in-house design and engineering studio, and often partners with renowned brands such as Avon and Urban Decay.

Avon, for instance, put its anti-aging product Anew Reversalist Firming Serum for the Polish and Eastern European markets in a Fusion container. That bottle from the packager’s Axis line comprises an outer bottle injected with translucent red and an interior layer decorated with mirror spray, according to an earlier Cosmetics Design item.

And last spring, Urban Decay launched its Naked Skin Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder in a custom-designed Fusion Packaging jar.

North, South, East and West
Fusion Packaging headquarters is in Texas, in proximity to brands like Mary Kay. “In as effort to get closer to its customer base on the Eastern seaboard, Dallas-based Fusion Packaging has opened up a showroom and office in the heart of Manhattan, New York,” reported Cosmetics Design last summer when the new space welcomed members of the press for a tour.
