Texas-based Fusion packaging has launched an airless packaging design in a square form.

The company specializes in packaging for the personal care and cosmetics market, and has brought a number of airless designs to the market with the most recent, the square shaped twist up, being based on one of the company’s best sellers.

According to Fusion, the square shaped twist up is designed to combine the features that make the twist form a winner with cosmetics and skin care providers, while presenting a wholly original image.

It includes a twist to actuate mechanism along with a pop up pump, which in combination eliminates the need for an over cap.

The bottle is available in 15ml and 30ml sizes and can be customized and decorated to fit the needs of individual clients using silk screening, hot stamping, UV metalizing and offset printing.

Square shaped twist up is part of the company’s aim to remain one of the leaders in airless packaging, increasingly the choice of the luxury and prestige brands.

Airless in high demand

This type of packaging promises to protect the formulation from oxidation on contact with the air and other external contamination as well as helping to dispense more of the product, leaving less wastage.

“Airless bottles are in high demand and our goal as a company is to remain the leaders in innovation and quality,” said president of Fusion, Derek Harvey.

One of Fusion’s more recent offerings in the area was a curved airless design that was released at the beginning of the year.

Kurve’s main challenge, according to the company, was to retain a cylindrical interior for the airless mechanism at the same time as designing the curved exterior.
