The competition, held in partnership with in-cosmetics, invites exhibitors at the Hamburg industry event to submit their most creative ideas and concepts online ahead of the show in April.
The brief for applications is wide: ideas for single ingredients, appealing concepts, novel technologies or innovative formulations are welcome, and can be submitted via the in-cosmetics website. Successful applications will receive the chance to pitch to Beiersdorf R&D teams at the show.
Cathy Laporte, Exhibition Manager, in-cosmetics said: “We’ve already received some really creative submissions and look forward to an exciting process where Beiersdorf will select those that best match the company’s vision to be number one in its relevant categories and markets.”
Laporte reminded applicants of the fast-approaching deadline: “Any companies who have not yet submitted projects are reminded that time is running out and all applications must be received by 31 January.”
Three winners will receive a Beiersdorf backstage pass entitling them to an exclusive guided tour of the Beiersdorf R&D facilities on 3 April, as well as the opportunity to discuss future business collaborations.
