Anthony Vargas, former vice president of Research and Development at Elizabeth Arden has branched out to create his own anti-aging skin care line based on his experience as a long time scientist and expert in the area.
The new line ‘Tilth Beauty’ is said to be of high performance in terms of anti-aging and has been formulated with the latest in skin care technology and natural based ingredients.
The founder who played an instrumental role in developing Arden's Prevage and Ceramine lines, established ‘Vargas Cosmetics’ in a bid to offer cosmetics that have “a unique and potent blend of natural and science-proven ingredients.”
After twenty years with Arden and nine at Avon before that, the CEO states that with this venture, he is only utilizing the latest state-of-the-art skin care technology, and most effective ingredients, regardless of cost.
Utilizing his industry expertise to branch out..
According to a company representative, Vargas oversees the creation of each product from start to finish; selecting only the safest, most effective ingredients, that will be available in salons and retail outlets by 2013.
"Since the company is not burdened by the excessive overhead costs and structure associated with larger cosmetic companies, the CEO only specializes in skin care, and is able to bring high performing skin care products to market much quicker and at an affordable price for the mainstream consumer."
All products are said to be free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates, silicones, synthetic fragrances, animal/dairy derived products, artificial coloring and features green packaging.
"Attention to nature is infused throughout this new skin care line from ingredients to packaging to the name itself. Tilth Beauty derives its name from the concept of 'Tilth', which refers to the physical condition and health of soil. Soil with "Good Tilth" is healthy with adequate moisture, oxygen and nutrients."
The beauty line features fourteen products, including that of cleansers, toners, moisturizers, serums and eye treatments, ranging in price from $32 for a cleanser to $62 for a serum.
