Specialty chemicals manufacturer Croda has expanded its sales team in Canada as part of efforts to meet the needs of its Canadian customers.
Croda has called the presence of a local sales team in Canada ‘essential’ to ensuring that it remains a global leader in the manufacture, development and supply of innovative raw materials.
As well as hiring new sales employees, Croda will create a sales support team to be located in a sales-based office in the Greater Toronto Area.
Customer care and logistics functions will be transferred to its Customer Care Center in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, USA, by the end of 2010. Meanwhile customer inventory will remain in Canada, with warehouses in the Toronto area and Calgary, Alberta.
The changes are intended to allow the Canadian office to focus exclusively on servicing the needs of Croda’s Canadian customers, providing an ‘even higher level of customer service’.
