Brazilian ingredients supplier Beraca is reinforcing its commitment to preserving biodiversity by supporting a series of UNESCO conferences throughout the year.
Declared by the United Nations General Assembly as the International Year of Biodiversity, 2010 will also see the launch of Beraca’s ‘Be truly Natural’ global campaign.
The campaign aims to highlight the importance of sourcing ingredients from certified suppliers that comply with global social development and nature preservation principles.
“We believe that simply providing natural active materials is not enough. It’s just the beginning of a cycle of social and environmental responsibility, which ranges from planting to marketing,” said Beraca’s business director Filipe Sabará.
