Dietary supplement specialist Viviscal has launched its latest natural hair growth and nourishing product with 50 percent more fish protein extract in it than before.

Viviscal Extra Strength is launched boasting double the amount of the exclusive AminoMar marine complex than in previous supplements.

AminoMar C Marine Complex is made up of fish proteins and supplies nutrients needed to nourish thinning hair and promote existing hair growth during the Anagen phase of the hair growth cycle (the active growth phase of hair follicles).

New formulation

Produced in Finland, Viviscal nutritional supplements are scientifically tested as an effective tool to combat thinning hair in both men and women, and is said to be appropriate for all hair types.

The new formulation is only available nationwide at present, and additional ingredients include Biotin, Iron and Zinc, which are power packs of nutrients that are useful for nourishing thinning hair and promoting existing hair growth.

The new Viviscal Extra Strength supplements will be a part of the Viviscal Hair Growth Program, building on the previous range of the company’s products, and has been made available from the start of the year, along with accompanying shampoos, conditioners and filler.

"We are proud to offer the complete hair growth program for both men and women worldwide," commented Mark Holland, North American CEO of Viviscal. "We will continue our mission to provide safe, effective solutions to promote existing hair growth."

Program

The US firm says its Hair Growth Program is supported by a combination of over 20 years of research in the areas of biochemistry and nanotechnology, on-going clinical trials and product development.

According to recent studies, 65 percent of women will experience hair thinning and loss by the time they turn 60.

As for men, roughly 40 percent will have noticeable hair loss by the time they turn 35.

Hair loss can be the consequence or side effect of several everyday factors including poor nutrition, illness, medication, hormones, genetics, age, stress and over-styling.
