Software specialist Valdata is offering formulation experts a free single-user version of its recipe formulation software package.

The software is available on the company’s website and is designed to offer formulation experts an insight into the software package and its functionality, which is aimed at managing and streamlining formulation options and alternatives.

The software provides a standardized method to develop and store recipes, listing options to manage formulation according to ingredients or specific procedures, which can then be generated as a batch document in either paper or electronic form through the software’s Manufacturing Execution System.

Enhancing formulation management

Susan Balsamello, Valdata marketing director, says the software download for Recipe Manager Software aims at helping formulators to discover how it works and the enhancements it can bring to work patterns.

Other key functionality of the software includes container level inventory tracking, scale connectivity, traceability, real time production and inventory data, the elimination of formulation errors and date delays, together with a fully documented audit trail.

“It is a great opportunity for potential Valdata Systems customers to get a taste of how our Chemical Management modules can improve productivity and simplify their workload,” Balsamello.

Chemical Management System

Earlier this year Valdata announced a software validation system aimed at helping chemical companies meet the challenge of fulfilling auditing regulations. Chemical Management System, a software designed to help companies manufacturing chemical-related products to be more organized in this often convoluted and complex process.

The system offers real-time, paperless control over all the primary manufacturing processes, including, formulation development, receiving, testing, inventory control and pre-weigh, as well as providing an overview of the manufacturing and production processes.
