NASA continues development of cosmetics out of this world!

Technology Applications International Corporation (NUUU) will continue its exclusive licensing agreement with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to develop cosmetics and hair care products.

As part of the deal, NUUU’s wholly-owned subsidiary Renuell International has signed an additional exclusive licensing agreement at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

"We are very pleased to announce our latest, exclusive agreement with NASA,” says Charles J. Scimeca, NUUU's CEO.

“In addition to our original agreement, we now have exclusive usage rights, for cosmetics and hair care products, of an electromagnetic field (EMF) rotating-walled (RW) bioreactor, for commercial production of three-dimensional (3-D) expanded plant and mammalian cell cultures, including but not limited to cultures and co-cultures of human dermal cells, induced pluripotent cells, mammalian stem cell extracts and plant stem cell extracts."

NASA agreements

Renuell International is launching its Rejuvel brand of technologically advanced breakthrough anti-aging skin care products that are made possible because of its agreements with NASA.

NUUU's newest exclusive agreement covers two additional U.S. patents, No. 6,485,963 B1 and No. 6,673,597 B2; and is entitled "Growth Stimulation of Biological Cells and Tissue by Electromagnetic Fields and Uses Thereof."

The anti-aging products are created in simulated microgravity, in NASA developed bioreactors, to create high quality skin care products that promote the body's own healing mechanisms.

All products are ‘Space Certified’ and are recognized by the Space Foundation as technology that has been developed in outer space. The Space Foundation Seal will appear on all of their products.

International development

The news comes at the same time that the NUUU announced that Renuell has also signed a distribution agreement with Force Dis Tic. based in Istanbul, Turkey, which will create an international revenue stream and is a step towards Rejuvel being recognized as a global brand.

The Turkish company has kicked off a marketing and advertising campaign with the placement of an advertisement in the Turkish edition of a popular, International fashion magazine.

"According to the Turkish Health Ministry, retail sales of imported cosmetics topped $4 billion in 2013 in the Republic of Turkey. We are very pleased to enter this market which also will be our gateway to Europe and the Middle East," adds Scimeca.
