BASF has launched Get The Look 2,0, a virtual makeover applications that has been designed to showcased the BASF portfolio, together with projections for future industry trends.

The company turned to ModiFace for the development app, which is a company that specialises in providing the technological platforms used to give consumers an idea of how their look can change by applying certain cosmetic products.

The basics of the technology means that an individual loads up an image of themself, or an image from a photo library, from which different hairstyles, eye make-ups, face make-up, shades of lipstick and the projected effects of anti-ageing products can be experienced.

“We’re excited to launch Get the Look 2.0, the new virtual makeover application from BASF. Our products will come to life as you play with different options for makeup, hair and skin care ingredients from the Care Creations brand. For the utmost convenience, search for Get the Look 2.0 through Innovadex and immediately click on the formulations you see in the virtual makeover,” said Kate Spetrino, skin care marketing manager, North America.
