The company’s beauty business also experienced increased sales, with its Beauty North America and Beauty Other divisions recording combined sales of $22.9m.
However, Tupperware chairman Rick Goings commented that BeautiControl continued to have disappointing results, which partially offset an increase in sales in Fuller Mexico.
In the Beauty Other category, sales in local currency were up 15 percent, while fourth quarter profit grew from $3.2 million in 2008 to $7.5 million in 2009.
