The business, which is mainly present in Western Europe and Asia-Pacific, will serve to extend P&G's global reach in the air care and toilet care product markets.
The deal gives Sara Lee the opportunity to concentrate on its new core business, which server both the household and food markets worldwide.
Back in September it was confirmed that Unilever would buy the Sara Lee personal care business, in a €1.275bn transaction that will see it secure brands such as Sanex and Radox, if regulatory authorities worldwide give the go ahead.
