The company was the winning bidder for ASR in its bankruptcy court proceedings and it claims that the waiting period for the antitrust review in the US has expired.
However, it is still awaiting clearance from regulatory authorities in Germany and Taiwan which must be given before the closing date of November 23.
If acceptance by these authorities is given, the acquisition, which includes ASR’s wet shaver and blade business, will be completed on November 23.
