Tough is currently IFF’s non-executive Chairman, and has been a board member since 2008.
Speaking of his appointment, Tough paid tribute to his fellow colleagues and board members, and looked towards the next stage of IFF’s growth.
"As I begin my journey as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of International Flavors & Fragrances, I am excited to lead our organization into the next decade and leverage the enormous opportunities that exist for such a dynamic company," said Tough.
