Earlier this week, the company confirmed that it had partnered with Tengram Capital Partners in an effort to extend its reach into premium cosmetics and personal care, together with fine fragrances.
Following on from this, the company has unveiled it Nest Fine Fragrances Collection, which it says are inspired by the botanical artworks of 18th century artists Mrs. Delany.
New range of three premium fragrance products
The range features three floral fragrances, which will each be produced in an eau de parfum spray, a roller ball and body cream, respectively named Amazon Lily, Midnight Fleur and Passiflora.
The product will initially be launched in the US market and will be available at the Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman stores nationwide, although the company has said that it wants to eventually extend distribution of its products worldwide.
The fragrances were developed by Nest founder Laura Slatkin, who enlisted the help of internationally acclaimed master perfume Christophe Laudemiel, president of DreamAir for Amazon Lily and Passiflora, together with Robertet’s master perfumer Jerome Epinette for the creation of Midnight Fleur.
From home fragrance to cosmetics and fine fragrance
Established in 2005, Nest Fragrances started out in the home fragrance category, but last year, the company began to branch out into luxury personal care and cosmetics line, as well as fine fragrances.
It launched a line of personal care products in July of this year that included body wash and body cream, while the Nest fine fragrance collection included a range of three fragrances platformed by an eau de parfum.
The investment partnership with Tenegram aims to accelarate this expansion into the fragrance and personal care arena, where the company says it is eyeing further product roll outs targeting both the domestic and international markets.
Tengram is an investment company that specializes in partnering with a range of consumer sector businesses with the aim of helping them to grow through providing additional resources to help increase market reach.
