"Our independent sales force is more diverse and more women from Gen Y are joining Mary Kay,” said Yvette Franco, vice president of US Marketing for Mary Kay, after the company announced a 15 percent increase in sales.
Franco explained that a combination of the company’s long standing appeal and the flexibility that the business offers, were the biggest factors attributing to strong sales.
This week, Mary Kay is hosting more than 10,000 independent beauty consultants during its annual Leadership Conference from Jan 8-14 at the Georgia World Congress Center, in Atlanta.
