Johnson & Johnson heiress dies at age 30

Casey Johnson, an heiress to the Johnson & Johnson empire has passed away at the age of 30, according to media reports.

Johnson is the great-great granddaughter of the founder of the consumer products giant, Robert Wood Johnson 1, and the daughter of New York Jets owner, Robert ‘Woody’ Johnson 1V.

Although a spokesperson for the Los Angeles police department said in a statement that the death appeared to be from natural causes, Johnson is reported to have suffered a history of drug abuse.

Johnson & Johnson reported sales of $15.1bn in the third quarter of 2009.
