Interparfums has signed an exclusive 13-year fragrance licence agreement with French ballet shoe maker La Maison Repetto, which will take effect at the beginning of 2012.
The worldwide licence will create, develop and distribute the fragrances under the Repetto brand, with the first fragrance line expected to be launched in 2013, according to Interparfums.
Initially focusing on Europe, Repetto plans to expand its retail presence internationally, and is branching out into Asia, with a specific focus on South Korea and Japan.
"Repetto is an exceptional brand that has acquired unique know-how in the field of dance. We believe that this universe offers real opportunities for creating a range of poetic, glamorous and ultra-feminine fragrance lines,” said Philippe Benacin, Chairman-CEO of Interparfums.
